Decemeber’s challenge is all about poses that require you to be present. These are some of my favorite poses because they aren’t necessarily difficult, but require concentration. One of my main reasons for practicing yoga is to take my mind off of every day things and practice being more “in the moment”.
The first few poses are pretty easy…literally starting off with “Easy Pose”. For this one, I focused on breathing deeply.

Day 1: Easy Pose. Sukhasana.

Day 2: Chaturanga

Day 3: Half Lord of the Fishes, Ardha Matsyendrāsana

Day 4: Both Big Toe Pose, Ubhaya Padangusthasana

Day 5: Bound angle pose, Baddha Konasana

Day 6: Tree Pose, Vrksasana

Day 7: Low Lunge, Anjaneyasna
