Gifts we gave…

A Dyson for my mom. I told her we were going to give her ours since our house has a Central Vac system, and she loves our Dyson, but since the Central Vac doesn’t cover the entire house, we wanted to keep our Dyson and I bought her the exact same model. She was pretty upset because I told her we weren’t doing presents this year, and surprised her with this. To be fair, I bought it in like September when I found one on sale.

Vanilla cream filled Vaders…

and chocolate TARDIS and Daleks for my dad.

And a book signed by the photographer (for dad).

I made a TARDIS t-shirt.

$100 in different bills hidden inside balloons (also some had notes).

Doctor Who Yahtzee for my husband…who also bought the same thing for me (so his coworker got the extra).

Toilet and bathroom cleaner for my husband…this was a gift of “no complaining” because the smell of Scrubbing Bubbles gives me a headache, and I always complain when he cleans the bathrooms. He also got beer, a plain black hat (he’d been wanting), and an air compressor with all the attachment nozzles.

We were going to do snow globes as gifts for the family, but the 6 year old wasn’t really into it and I noticed I was doing them all (and poorly), so we scrapped it for trinket boxes.

We gave all the women in the family painted boxes like these…they were $1 at Michael’s so you can’t beat that.

We got…

We bought ourselves two new comforters (after searching for the past 2 years) for $20 a piece.  We ordered them, and then each unwrapped one from it’s shipping packaging on Christmas morning. We also got a super comfy throw.

I got a few stationary packs.

And some new shampoo.

Doctor Who Monopoly and a TARDIS tea strainer!

Mom got me The Vegan Table…which she also gave me two years ago. So I exchanged it for Chloe’s Kitchen and have been loving it. I’m always hesitant to buy cookbooks because there are so many free recipes online, but I’ve already made a few things from it and they have been great.
