January Yoga Challenge – Be Strong In 2015 and Resolutions

Be Strong In 2015

Be Strong In 2015 Yoga Challenge

Ever since I did my first Kino and Kerri yoga challenge this past June, I’ve vowed to always do a challenge that they’re hosting. This month is all about being strong. The challenge is hosted by Kino MacGregor and Kerri Verna, and sponsored by Aloyoga.

When they hosted the Independence ARMy challenge, I wasn’t sure I was going to enjoy it because I arm balances aren’t something I practiced regularly. They’re also something that frustrate me when I just can’t seem to get the balance right (it doesn’t help that the more you practice, the more tired your arms get). I sucked it up and ended up REALLY enjoying that challenge. There are a few days (looking at you 18 and 21) that I feel like will be a challenge, but I guess that’s the whole point! I can honestly say I’ve improved so much in this area since starting these challenges.

Resolutions

I don’t usually do New Years Resolutions, but sometimes I make up a list just for fun. This year, I plan on continuing to practice yoga daily, and I want to be more punctual on blogging about it!! I was doing good in the beginning but as of now, I only have the first week of December up. =/

I’ve created a page where all the yoga challenges can be found (all hosted and sponsored by other people, I just participate) and it’s currently a work in progress. When I have it finished, I’ll post a link on the main page. If you take a peek at it, I’d love any input!

I’d also like to get back into the monthly personal challenges/goals. I think at the beginning of last year, either for the year or for January, I wanted to be more organized, especially with to-do lists and I’m proud to say I’ve accomplished that. I bought a BlueSky day planner from Target last year and it helped immensely. I know there are a million different planners out there, some with recipes or inspirational quotes, but my $12.99 one from Target is all I really need. This year it’s basically the same thing, but they rebranded it as Sugar Paper.

Did you make any New Years Resolutions this year?
