(No affiliate links…just stuff I’m really digging at the moment.)
1. Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Body Lotion ($10.29 Target) I don’t really like lotion unless it’s just cacao/shea butter. If you read the ingredients on most lotions, there’s a bunch of weird chemical sounding stuff. I bought this to try because the skin on my stomach is getting dry, and it has pretty simple ingredients. I love the way it smells with frankincense and myrrh.
2. Montagne Jeunesse Mud Pac (~$1.49 Grocery store) I’ve been using these once a week since trying to have an actual skincare routine. The mud masque ones don’t work in the shower as well as I had hoped (to keep the hard water out of my pores), but I like to use them on Friday nights and just relax. Plus, there’s so much in the package that I can use one package twice and that makes it even cheaper.

3. Zoya Pixie Dust in Godiva ($9 Zoya) I wasn’t sure about the textured nail polishes, but I scored this one in Godiva during one of their Flash Promos (and Tomoko which is on it’s way), and I love it. It’s such a beautiful color and it really does sparkle like in the pictures on their site, but it doesn’t look gaudy or like I’m a 13 year old girl. I think it looks best with 3 coats, and it lasts forever because it’s not easy to tell when it starts to wear. I think I need to get Chyna next.
4. Aveda Botanical Kinetics Gel Cleanser, Hydrating (facial) Lotion, and Light Elements Smoothing Fluid (Aveda) I ordered Aveda shampoo and conditioner for Christmas, and they always include a bunch of samples, and I got these (plus a leave in conditioner, a curl cream, and hand lotion). I really love the face wash and lotion so much that I might have to buy them to add into my daily routine. I’ve been loving the Dr. Dennis Gross face wash for hard water, and this Aveda stuff makes my skin just as smooth with no breakouts. I only tried the smoothing fluid once so far (today) and it made my hair so shiny and smooth and not greasy at all. I hate to say it, but I think they definitely hooked me for some more purchases with their little samples. Aveda is a bit of a splurge because it’s not cheap, but it’s one of my favorite brands.
My last thing that I’m loving lately is a shameless promotion of my Etsy shop because I started making these vegan chocolates and they are SO GOOD. You can get Doctor Who or Darth Vader themed chocolates, and there are a bunch of fillings to choose from (orange creme, peppermint creme, vanilla creme, coconut creme, almond butter, or solid chocolate).
The orange creme is my absolute favorite, but I love them all. I’ve even gotten my husband hooked, and he brought some in for his coworker who happens to love Doctor Who, almond butter, and is semi-vegan. I’ve had a few sales of them already too, so I hope everyone loves them. I wouldn’t call these “healthy” since they are loaded with sugar, but they are a nice treat and make great gifts. =)
