We did a few things right and a few things wrong with our whole moving process and one thing I’m glad I did was prepping food in advance. On the actual moving day, we bought a few pizzas and subs, but for the rest of the week, and for quick foods, I baked and froze stuff. The only down side was not knowing how our oven cooks, and our semi thawed lasagna still wasn’t cooked after 2 hours.
Here is what I made in advance:
- Baked oatmeal (one blueberry, one strawberry)
- Pumpkin bread, muffins, and donuts
- Zucchini-carrot muffins
- Earl grey tea muffins with lemon glaze
- Pumpkin Spice mini cheese cakes
