I am a homeowner!
I saw this house the first day it went back on the market and wanted to make an offer ASAP. We waited a few months and looked at some other places, but in the end our search ended here.
It needs a lot of updating, and the spider population rivals NYC, but it’s beautiful and it’s ours. =)
Any tips on moving into your first home or new home rituals?

We just closed on our house last month too 🙂 We’ve been digging in a huge garden that will be all organic and no-till from here out. I’ve heard Ivory soap shavings work well to encourage spiders to relocate.

Congrats! It’s exciting, isn’t it? I can’t wait to plan out the garden for next spring. Let me know if you come across any good advice. The house has been vacant for almost 3 years, so the spiders basically took over. We’re having a professional come and spray outside to at least deter new ones from moving in. =)
