We bought something this weekend…
Okay, not just the gazebo…but the house that it comes with!
And since it’s an older house and needs some remodeling, my first thought was “let’s go to IKEA!”
Since we were already in the Baltimore area, I persuaded the dude to take a detour to Trader Joe’s since neither of us had ever been there before. I loved it! Unfortunately, we couldn’t get any perishables because we had over an hour drive home, but we picked up some goodies. I had to crack open the kale chips and the chocolate bar on the way home. I really wanted to try their almond butter because it was recommended, plus it’s way cheaper than any of the stuff in our grocery store, but alas, the shelf was completely empty. =( Another thing we noticed was how friendly everyone was. The older lady in front of us let us go ahead of her because we only had a few things, and then clerk asked me how I was doing, and he seemed so genuine. We probably just happened to encounter nice people, but it was a very pleasant trip.
The spinach and garlic chips are so good, I want to die and go to garlic heaven. =)
Pow! Perfect snack for designing our kitchen!
So good! I can’t believe how delicious they are!
I’ve had a coupon for this for a while but hadn’t seen it anywhere. Of course, I found it at Weis and didn’t have the coupon with me, but it was on sale so I tried it. I’m not a big coffee drinker, but every once in a while I like an iced latte. Overall, it’s pretty good. There’s no high fructose corn syrup, but it still has too much sugar for me (20g per 8oz). It’s also a little thinner than I was expecting, but the coffee/mocha flavor is spot on. Plus, it’s a lot cheaper than getting an iced soy latte from Sheetz.
We finished off the weekend with some delicious vegetable curry and my favorite inari (tofu skin) rolls.
Monday morning body fat% =19.1. I can handle that.
Our inspections are this week and then we still have a while until closing. Any words of wisdom for a first time home owner?
