Greece-The First Day

Greece Apartment - Our huge balcony

Greece Apartment – Our huge balcony

I’m really upset to say that for the next month the only way I will be able to communicate with anyone will be through snail mail. As of right now, we’re the only apartment out of 4 that doesn’t have the Internet, although the other ones only have it because they can steal a wireless signal.

I’m also scared to think that my living habits may have to change. No internet, no TV, no phone. We don’t even have constant hot water. You have to turn the water heater on half an hour in advance to take a shower. The apartment is huge though, four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, and multiple balconies. I just wish it was a little more technologically advanced.
I thought I may actually have to go to bed early and sleep in the dark for a whole night, but it’s 5am and my roommate and I can’t sleep. I fell asleep at like 10:45, but woke up at 3. We’re currently watching one of the two English stations, CNN and NBC.
