Sweater Weather

Questions! 1. Favorite candle scent? I really love the smell of sandalwood and sage. Sweet candles are great, but they make me crave sweets…which is not great.

2. Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate? Tea…Sophia’s Tea!

3. What’s the best fall memory you have? Most recently..getting married in Central Park. Before that I’d have to say starting off a new school year. Buying new notebooks and pencils always brought excitement for the new year.

4. Which makeup trend do you prefer: dark lips or winged eyeliner? Neither?

5. Best fragrance for fall? Earthy smells. I don’t do fragrance, so again I’d say sandalwood oil.

6. Favorite Thanksgiving food? All the {vegan} sides. I’ve never liked eating turkey, so I always got by on the sides. This year I’m especially looking forward to making stuffed mushrooms.

7. What is autumn weather like where you live? It’s mid-November and it’s anywhere between low 30’s or upper 50’s.

8. Most worn sweater? This kind of weird patterned beige cardigan. I ordered it online and would’ve never picked it out in the store, but I love it. I wear it almost every day. It’s looser, but not stretched out.

9. Must-have nail polish this fall? I’ve resigned myself only to Zoya brand, and I’m loving Pasha. I played the word “pasha” in WordFeud against my mom and somehow she thought it meant “having to pee” (as opposed to a high ranking official in the Ottoman Empire). So when I saw Zoya had a color named Pasha I got it right away, and it’s gorgeous. Another great one is Channing.

10. Football games or jumping in leaf piles? Ick, neither. Definitely not a football fan, and leaves remind me of ticks, and ticks=lyme disease, so I’ll pass.

11. Skinny jeans or leggings? I actually own a pair of jeggings…and…I love them. I feel dirty for even typing that. (I can never wear skinny jeans because of my monster calf muscles, but I tried a pair on anyway, and they rocked… and then I realized they were jeggings.)

12. Combat boots or Uggs? Neither.

13. Is pumpkin spice worth the hype? Yes! Well homemade pumpkin spice stuff that is. Pumpkin is full of vitamins, and you can add it to pretty much any baked good with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and allspice. Skip the fancy SB Pumpkin Spice Lattes though because there is SO MUCH SUGAR.

14. Favorite fall TV show? The one I look forward to watching the most now is probably Homeland. It was questionable in the beginning of the season, but I haven’t given up on it.

15. What song really gets you into the fall spirit? I can’t think of one. I haven’t been listening to music much lately. Definitely NOT Christmas music though…that shouldn’t start until Thanksgiving!
