The ginger in this smoothie makes it spicy. If you aren’t a ginger fan, omit it or use less.
2 cups of water
juice from 1/2 a lemon
about an inch of peeled ginger
2 large handfuls of kale (or more)
1 cup of frozen mango
sweetener (agave, stevia, etc) if needed (I skip it)
Blend the water and kale first to help break it down.
Then add the rest of the ingredients.
Makes about 2 mason jars full of green goodness. Drink one now, and refrigerate one for later!
